The trailer of Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia-starrer The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest is finally out! The trailer follows Sidharth’s character, a rational urban man who returns to his ancestral village, only to find himself drawn into a supernatural mystery involving a divine goddess, a forbidden forest and a warrior destined to protect his people.
The Vvaan Trailer Out
The trailer introduces Sidharth Malhotra as a sceptical man who returns to his ancestral village to finish some land formalities. Unlike the villagers, he doesn’t believe the stories surrounding the forest, where entering after sunset is strictly forbidden.
The village is also caught between development and tradition. While Sunil Grover’s character points out the lack of basic facilities, plans to cut down trees near the Vvaan Devi temple face strong opposition from villagers who consider the forest sacred.
Things take a turn when Sidharth enters the forest and gets injured, after which he experiences strange visions. A priest suggests that the Goddess may be trying to show him something.
Soon, the sceptic finds himself drawn into the mystery he once dismissed. As the trailer shifts into action, Sidharth is seen battling forces inside the forest, hinting that he may have a much bigger role to play in protecting the village.
Sharing the trailer, the makers wrote, “When Faith Meets Folklore, a story like no other comes alive.”
About The Vvaan
According to reports, The Vvaan draws inspiration from the centuries-old folklore surrounding the 16th-century Van Devi Temple near Bihta, close to Patna in Bihar.
The film stars Sidharth Malhotra, Tamannaah Bhatia, as well as Sunil Grover, Maniesh Paul, Shweta Tiwari, Anup Soni in key roles.
The Vvaan brings together TVF founder Arunabh Kumar, director Deepak Mishra and producer Ektaa Kapoor. Written by Arunabh and directed by Deepak, the film blends folklore and fantasy with adventure, mystery and humour. The makers have also expanded the story’s universe beyond the film with The Legend of Vvaan, a comic book that explores the wider folklore surrounding its world.
Presented by Balaji Motion Pictures, a division of Balaji Telefilms Ltd, in association with TVF and 11.11 Production, the film is produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Arunabh Kumar and Niraj Kothari.
The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest is scheduled to release in theatres on September 25, 2026.
